How To End a Dry Spell Once & For All–Whether It’s Been Weeks, Months Or Longer…
Sex is great, we can all agree on that one.
But sometimes work, relationships and life in general get hectic… and suddenly sex just doesn’t seem to be happening as much.
So you let it go a week, and then a month… and soon enough you find yourself in what is commonly known as a “dry spell.”
But less sex doesn’t just mean less fun–the side effects of a sexual hiatus can be far more harmful to certain areas of your health and lifestyle.
A dry spell in your sex life could mean a slew of less-than-favorable health risks–an increase in blood pressure, extreme stress, etc..
While a roll in the hay is the simplest solution, there are times in life when it’s harder to make sex happen. So in that case, there are other steps you can take to prevent the backlash from a sexual dry spell, and ultimately, get laid.
These steps are scientifically proven to work no matter what your age, or how long it’s been since you last got any action.
There are 5 of them in all… so let’s begin with a fun one. 😉
1) Masturbate More (Seriously)
Not having sex with a partner is one thing, but if you also don’t spend enough time pleasuring yourself, your body may start to lose some of its sexual agility.
Think about sex like Sudoku. You could be a Sudoku master, but if you go a year without it, odds are you’re gonna be a little rusty the next time you put your skills to the test.
In the same way, if you’re not having sex, your body isn’t getting the practice it needs.
According to a 2008 medical study, men in their 50’s, 60’s and 70’s are far more likely to develop sexual problems when they don’t masturbate at least once a week.
So don’t make getting back to having sex harder than it should be–regular masturbation can keep the wheels greased so when the time comes, you can easily navigate the situation.
And what’s more, regular ejaculation for men over 50 leads to a dramatically lower risk (we’re talking 33% lower) of prostate cancer.
That’s a pretty big advantage for such little work on your part, am I right?
2) Eat These Foods
Unsurprisingly, a healthy diet can also help keep your parts in check, and get you out of a dry spell.
Biological Psychology published a study in 2006 that linked regular sexual activity with lower blood pressure.
Since you can’t count on the benefits of sex to help keep your blood pressure in line, you should pay particular attention to the areas of your life you can definitely control– like what you eat.
Especially while you’re experiencing a dry spell, you should try to maintain a low-sodium, low-cholesterol, high-potassium meal routine.
The most well-rounded foods you should add to your routine are things like sweet potatoes, citrus fruits, spinach and other leafy greens.
These will keep your blood pumping everywhere throughout your body… including *down there.*
Which can give you a serious boost to your sex drive—and your performance once you do meet a woman to take home (but more on that in a second).
3) Do THIS to Decrease Your Stress
Sex is a stress reliever. It feels good, it’s a physical activity, and it sends a rush of happy hormones to your brain and body.
If you’re not having sex, you’ll need to supplement the stress relief you’re no longer getting.
Meditation is a good stand-in. Taking time for yourself a few times a week to quiet your mind and concentrate on your breathing can work wonders in keeping stress at bay.
Even if you can’t turn your brain off entirely, meditation is still an effective way to wind down and decrease stress levels with relaxation, breathing and mantras.
You can also hit the gym a few more times a week, making sure to pick the kind of exercise that gets the heart rate pumping.
Cardio machines are probably the best way to go, or any training that gets you out of breath. Even though it may not feel as good, working out produces the same rush of serotonin to the brain as sex, and it will elevate your mood just as much.
Because at the end of the day, think about it:
If you’re in a dry spell, that sucks–but it’s not impossible to get out of.
If you’re in a dry spell, AND you’re seriously stressed out… that’s a different story.
So stay as stress-free as possible, and things will be looking up.
4) Boost Your Immune System
Believe it or not, sex can help you ward off viruses and common colds.
This has to do with the stress factor I already discussed–happier, less-stressed-out people generally produce more white blood cells, the foundation of your immune system.
The more sex you have, the less stress you have, the more white blood cells you produce… and the less likely you are to get sick.
If your routine doesn’t include sex, it’s important to make you sure you are ingesting high levels of natural cold remedies that can counteract sickness.
Vitamin C and Zinc are the big two, so think meats and mushrooms (or supplements).
And finally, here’s the easiest and fastest way to get out of your dry spell once and for all:
5) Look For Girls Who Give You The “Sex Signals”
One of the easiest ways to get out of a dry spell, is to look for “DTF” girls when you go out.
(DTF = Down To F**K.)
Because once you spot a DTF girl… then chances are you won’t have to talk to her for more than a couple minutes before she starts getting sexual with you. 😉
But here’s the thing:
Even though these DTF girls may be in an “easy” mood, they are NOT always easy to spot.
It’s not about how short her dress is… or how loud she’s talking… or how much she’s drinking…
… and the reality is, sometimes the quiet “nerdy” girls are secretly the freakiest & most DTF!
So instead, it’s all about spotting these little-known “Sex Signals.”
These are subtle things she’ll do with her body, that instantly reveal her as a DTF girl who’s h*rny, eager and willing to go home with the next guy who talks to her…
And here’s what they are :-):
